About Us

Son of a carpenter and born in Rolim de Moura (RO – Brazil), João Wilson started in construction at age 10. At 16, he trained as a site manager and, before 21, had strong hands-on experience in renovations and finishes in Brazil.

At 21, he moved to the United States, where he founded Dragons Painting & Remodelings, delivering professional painting and residential remodelling. At 26, he returned to Brazil and opened Dragons Constructions USA, building homes for sale. After a challenging property cycle, he restructured the business to focus on leaner, efficient project management.

In his early 30s, João moved to Balneário Camboriú (SC) and launched J&W Construções — a tribute to his children’s initials. There, he consolidated processes, standardised quality and expanded the portfolio: full renovations, light steel structures and bespoke joinery.

With Italian citizenship, he took the next step: moving to Ireland and establishing J&W Constructions • Painting • Remodelings in Dublin. The goal from day one was clear: deliver residential renovations to an international standard with transparent communication, realistic schedules and full compliance with Irish Building Regulations.

Today, J&W operates in Dublin and surroundings with an experienced, multidisciplinary team. We combine Brazilian work ethic, the precision learned in the US and the technical compliance required in Ireland to deliver complete renovations — from layout and services to final finishes — with warranty, traceable stages and an impeccable finish.
